If you own a vintage merc, where would you go to get parts from?
I realise my S500 is coming to about 25 years and been told some parts are difficul;t to get hold of. Are there any speacialist retailers that you go to?

Depends where you live to some extent?
UK?

Then what kind of parts? Service Items ie filters/wipers/lamps? Body ie Panels/clips/glass/roof repairs? Interior trim, switches/leather/panels/seats/carpets.

Gateshead & Newcastle MB have good discounts available - they have outlet on eBay.

some service items can be bought at online or local motor factors.

Specialist MB breakers like Dronsfields.

some people are now 3D printing some hard to get bits for the SL.

maybe post up a list of what you need.
