Violated!!!

Well, its finally happened. Some little *************** has snapped my star off and left my Merc naked!!!

My pride and Joy is a C180 "P" Reg (1994).

Can anyone please tell me how much a replacement star will cost (new and second hand), is there a specific one for my car, what the order code may be, and how to fit one.

Business is awful at the moment and this is just another hassle I do not need.

Answers to my questions would certainly help to put a smile back on my face.

The bonnet emblem is approx £15 and fits very easily. (I've had to do it twice due to vandals)
When you buy the new emblem you just poke it through the bonnet from the top and then turn the bottom half from underneath to secure it in position.
Don't worry. It'll be looking as good as new in no time.

ask nicely and the dealer will fit it for you foc. Most do anyway.
Don't be tempted by the ebay ones - they are often more expensive than the dealer (with P+P) and are often poor quality. As above £15 from the dealer.
