After reading some threads here and on another MB forum (sorry! ) I ordered some of this from Viponds in Australia. $20 USD for the paint and $20 for the postage. Arrived in one week, with instruction sheet. I'd also read the recommendations on the threads. Apparently they do all the SLK shades (mine was 227 Scarlet).
Anyway, excellent result - did the chips with a small modellers brush and the whole of the door handles using some of those little foam wedges that are used for makeup (£1.49 for 4 from Boots), as well as the top of the rear half of the centre console. It's quite thick paint and needs a good stir, but dries pretty quickly. I'm very pleased with it.
Next stop, I have some 'Frost' vinyl repair kit to repair where the door appears to have been slammed onto the seatbelt catch......
