Hi

Does anybody have experience of either of these bluetooth modules .We appreciate the MB uses the cars aerial and the others the phones, but also have heard that the MBenz module has connection and feedback issues.Any first hand experience would be appreciated

The MB SAP cradle and the Viseeo MBU-2000 both work fine. The echo issue is with the HFP cradle in D2B cars.

The SAP cradle is a pain to pair but once done it works a treat. MBU-2000 is easy to pair and use plus it has its own volume control.

Visseo purchased

I'm new to this forum Alfie and have bought the MBU2000 from you today. My E55 05 reg was bought on Tuesday and has the thingy in the middle so i guess i plug the Visseo straight in there? I noticed that my Bluetooth option on the Services menu has disappeared, will this be an issue?

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, all you need to do is to plug the viseeo into your UHI connection. Make sure it clicks into place fully. To pair it, simply press and hold the top button until the white/silver light flashes. Tell your phone to search for bluetooth devices, when it finds Viseeo, select that. enter the pairing code 1234 and then wait for the address book to download (flashing green light). When the green light stops flashing (can take a while), press the reset button (bottom one), let the cradle reset and re-pair and thats it job done.

I have purchased three months ago an MBU2000 The unit works well and downloads the phone numbers from your Iphone but since then I have discovered that the quality of the sound is suboptimal. everyone I speak to say I sound as if I am speaking from a water well, distant and with a metalic quality. It does not compare the the excellent quality of my trusted Nokia 6230i which had clear and crisp sound I am told. Mind you it may not be the unit it could be the Iphone. (using the iphone alone without connecting to the MBU2000 my voice is clear and no interference. Hani
