vito 108cdi error start

hi can any one help please driving along stoped and switch of engine went back to van and tried to start it all lights came on but milage says error start and engine doesant start called AA but they cound not sort it they tried jump start they disconected battery then connected after ten minutes but still the same ..please have anyone had this problem and how did they fix it.

I had the same problem on a cdi Sprinter when I bought it. It turned out to be one of the several fuses I had to replace. Check the ones under the seat as well as the main fusebox.
