Posted in ecu/electrics by mistake:D

I have a 2007 109CDI and have about 10000 ks on it. I am getting the oil light flashing but no warning message on the LCD. I have checked the oil level and all seems in order. If I shut the engine down and restart it seems to go away, but stays on at an idle once on. The manual says check the oil level. There does not seem to be any consistency as to when it comes on. I will take it to the dealer tomorrow and see what they say. (Same as last time can't find anything wrong ) ANY suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers Tragic

OK Listen to this! I rang merc and there was a recall on this model as the dipstick is too SHORT so a high level alarm was being triggerd. All fixed WOO HOO
