Vito 111 (2005) Speed sensor

I have now had my vito broke into 3 times different locations to steal my TomTom 700, I have now purchased a Pioneer AVIC X1R as the screen will be out of site when parked. I asked a pioneer dealer for fitting costs, and was told it would be around £600 due to needing a speed sensor. I am happy to fit myself if the only thing that worries me is, has the Vito 111 a speed sensor already,as it seems many Mercs have them already. and which wire is it.

hi, the speedo drive info is taken from the nearside abs sensor on your vito.

Hopefully this will be suitable

Mercedes Benz Vito CDI Mod. 1999 The signal comes out of the instrument cluster, Connector 2, Pin 4 carries the signal. Pin 4 is not connected, it has to be connected. Valid for MAGNETI MARELLI instrument clusters.

Mercedes Benz Vito 1996 Behind the control unit on the black 18 pin connector 1 Pin 2 Blue/Black. White/red. Under the driver's seat on the black 21 pin connector Important: The speed signal can also be taken from the connector 2 Pin 9 cable colour grey/red. (not modified signal).

Mercedes Benz Vito LKW 1996 1999 There is a black 12 pin connector behind the speedometer. Connector 1, pin 9, blue/black cable, carries the signal. Blue/black. At some vehicles pin 9 is not connected. It has to be connected with a special contact pin. The rectangular signal comes out of the instrument cluster.
