Vito is still going strong but recently heater has been performing poorly - distribution to footwells very weak but dashboard outlets are better - fan responds to variable speeds but output generally not hot enough and takes ages to warm up even with auxiliary heating switched on: Any help appreciated! Regards, Sam

Hi Malcolm,

Engine temp' pretty well matches heater, i.e. takes ages to warm up but eventually gets there, at about 85 celcius. Should I check for a thermostat jammed open, and if so, where? Does the aux' heater burn diesel via some sort of glowplug? Trying to find a drawing but meeting dead ends everywhere

I'm used to Jag' and Ford layouts but the Vito is a bit of a mystery. Regards, Sam
