Guys, help. I have had this problem for 6 months. vito van petrol 50kmiles ran fantastic. left it standign for 3 months last year. battery went very low. then put on trickle charger. came to start. wouldn't start. Bought diagnostic plug. crank sensor us. fixed sensor started fine. When hot engine ran rough on idle and stalled al lthe time. no fault codes, no engine light on dash. runs fine. after half an hour won't idle stalls at lights. Runs fine when rev it up. changed o2 sensor. no different. no fault codes. think it is using more fuel.
sometimes looses power (think in limp home). turn ignition off and on and everything is fine. runs fine except on idle when hot. not touched fueling.
This is driving me mad. according to mercedes ecu is 0215453932 superceded by 0275454932. trying to avoid changing ecu as cost more than van. ideas please.
