I have just got a V reg Vito 110CDI with 73k on the clock and notice on the '06-'07 there's an advisory on both inner CV boots, its only done 13k since then. so i had a look at them and they are both open ended, are they meant to be like this or are they both in dire need of replacement? Theres plenty of grease in there but i thought they should probably taper down to the drive shaft so as not to allow any contaminants in? just want to know if i should replace them or not before i drive it any further.

Get them replaced asap. Driveshafts are expensive for the vito.
