Vito Error code C084000

My son has a Vito van that he uses for courier work. Not a kick out of it this morning. AA man managed to reboot the battery and we took it to an auto electrician. He put the machine on it and came up with the error code C084000. He couldn’t find it. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

uto electrician whos diagnostic gave up the code C084000. can anyone give me a specific note of what that code means? Thanks

Did the auto electrician not explain what fault the code pointed to?

It's a generic code, and not one associated with Mercedes STAR diagnostics.

I think I'd be asking the auto electrician what the problem is.

He didn’t have Mercedes specific diagnostics. Do you know if Mercedes specific would pinpoint it rather than just this generic code? Appreciate your help here

STAR the MB diagnostic will find the fault, but there is a charge & you will need to get the vehicle to someone who has it. Is he in AA or RAC their diagnostic kit is quite good.

AA just rebooted the battery but didn’t mention he could do the diagnostics thing unfortunately. I will try and find some one locally with the STAR MB diagnostic tool. Thanks for your help here.
