I have a 108 cdi. Done 54000 miles and the front end knocks. Have changed the steering rack and the top mounts on the front shocks and the knocking stopped for exactly 11 miles. It's more noticable at slow speeds over humps and bumps and parking up kerbs (sideways movements). everthing i can find is tight and nothings missing. any ideas?

To test the anti roll bar bushes and I bet thats what it is, open drivers door and rock vehicle using door as a leaver, it will knock, they all do! Anyhow, peace of cake to do, it's usually the two saddle ones that go.

Hi, on the subject of Anti Roll bars
Can someone please recomend somewhere to get hold of some anti roll bar bushes?
My 108d knocks (almost has a grind/squeak as it knocks???) under acceleration / decellaration.

Have changed anti roll bar link rods (made no difference), next is Anti roll bar bushes.

Any ideas much appreciated.

Acceleration/deceleration knocking ? It is the subframe mounting bushes without a doubt .
