Your Mercedes
Merc Vito 2.1 cdi
Hi peeps,

I’m new on here and I’m looking at changing the heat matrix on a Vito 2,1 CDI van.
I was hoping it was just the inlet pipe leaking but it now clear that the matrix is leaking.

a few questions

do I need to remove the steering wheel or can it just be dropped down and do I need special tools.

I’m a former mechanics but if I’m honest, I’ve never had to remove a dash board EVER.

is it a complicated jobs by numbers ?
And what time scale will I be looking at?

Regards
Carl
