Anyone have any idea if there would be a problem fixing a turbo timer on this van? response here in singapore says that it would ruin the immoblizers system.
another question is that the present alram that came with the van only unlocks the front door when disarming the alarm. but would lock all door when arming the alarm system. wish to get all the doors to disarm and unlock all together. there also been feed back from installers here that an aftermarket alarm system like the Viper would have a problem installing( either they don't know how to do it or ....) thanks for any info that you guys could provide

It should be possible to lock/unlock all the doors together, however the central locking(if factory fitted) is designed to work on a mercedes alarm(req a digital signal to lock/unlock) Its hard to get a non mercedes alarm to work with the central locking other than fitting an extra central locking motor into the drivers door and the alarm controlling it.
Dont let anyone mess with the immobiliser unless they're M-B approved or you like buying WSP and CDI control units! they're expensive and fragile!
