vito starting

hi a work college has a 52 reg 112cdi vito that fails to start when hot most times it starts fine when cold or left to cool down when hot just winds over and over . have replaced fuel lines from tank and fitted genuine filter has got worse over period of time and now fails to start when hot ! any ideas thanks in advance

I would say you could have a crankshaft or camshaft sensor fault, or an injector is on its way out, leaking off to much fuel.

Check how much fuel is leaking out of the tops of the injectors, into the little rubber pipe.

On the ocassions when it wont start, spray a small amount of aero start into the airfilter if it fires up, then it's probably an injector and eliminates the above sensors.
