I have a 2007 vito which has an whole bunch of problems, which I would like to fix up,
I will start with a question that touches on the diagnostics of said car.
The car only shows the ecm, and no other modules, and since i'm not that familiar with vito's diagnostics, i'm not sure if thats how its supposed to be, or is there supposed to be other modules?
the other problem is that only half of the cars lights turn on, the passanger side headlight only lights up the highbeams, and the drivers side headlight doesn't light up at all.
None of the fuses are blown, and all of the bulbs are new, and just to make sure, i have tried different bulbs aswell. This problem has me scratching my head because I have no clue what could be the problem.
If anyone has had a similar problem, I hope you can help me.

Yep there are several modules.
Are you relying on iCarsoft.

Problems with light are fairly likely to be the SAM, but not only. The multi function light switch is a possible.

If it's possible you've had moisture ingress to the under bonnet fuse box then the SAM is likely to be goosed.

Removal / replacement isn't easy, but at least they're plug and play.

If the diag tool only sees the ECM that sounds like a cheapo generic OBD2 tool. Only emission relevant nodes have to respond to OBD requests.

It needs something that can do manufacturer specific diags, so iCarsoft, Carly, Autel, Xentry etc, in order to talk with the other modules.
