Vito wont start

Hi All,

My 2001 vito ran out of diesel and now won't start. I have put diesel in the tank but it won't fire..Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome, they can be a real pig to get started again, best bet is a tow start, but otherwise min of 2 gallon and crank the hell out of it without stopping!!

take the fuel filter of and fill it with diesel then refit
it will then start

Thanks for the advice will try today..Also does anyone know where the battery charge points are under the bonnet, the battery under the seat is a pain in the jacksy to get to....Thanks

A quick sniff of easy start aerosol should help! Be careful not to use too much though.
