I just heard today that a friend of my dad's E280 has 980 000 kilometers on the clock. That's the most I've heard of ever! He only had to redo the "top"
and a few small bits. ENGINE's going at a hundred miles an hour, no cough!

I have another example where another of his friends has another E class thats got 750 000 km on the clock!

My dad's car has 450 000km on the clock and my C180 1994, now 302 000 km!

Dad only had to replace his gearbox, so far, me I am just about doing a diff - that's it...
