Volvo Sat Nav???

Hello all,

I currently have a new XC70 hire car, never having a Volvo before I'm not clear on the sat nav and there's no manual in the car. I cannot find anyway to enter a postcode into the satnav, it looks to me as it's not available but I thought I'd ask the question here in case members know if post code search is available (or not).

It's nice enough to drive and very quiet, I particularly like the distronic. I now "need" that on my next car

Have you tried the Volvo forums, there are 2

yes distronic is a must in todays traffic

It's a hire car so I wasn't goin to join a forum as it's very unlikely that I'll get a Volvo. Just wondered if any forum members have experience of them.

Similar but a lot more modern.

I have found that if you press "navigation" you can enter 5 digit postcode in the "city" field. I've also just discovered this morning that if you press the "ok" button with the map screen showing you can enter 7 digit postcode.

I would have thought that going via "navigation" would have been the way forward but I was wrong...
