W 210 Tyre Pressures

My Car has 18" AMG alloys with 225/40 ZR rubber. Can anyone tell me the correct tyre pressures. So far I've been using the ones shown on the inside of the Petrol filler flap but wondered if they should be different since the wheel/tyre combination is not standard

Thanks

You should still use the figures inside the filler. My W210 had 18"AMG's when I first bought it and the tyre pressures were the same for those and the 16" standard Avantgarde wheels.

Like you say blobcat Ive done the same with mine standard rims though
but the back ones are getting worn unevenly, more in the middle of the tyre than the outsides so Iv'e dropped 2 psi on the back to try and even then up

Agree with that if wear becomes uneven then adjust pressures. I do tend to run mine towards the higher end of the range.

Aren't these figures for Continental tyres.

I feel we should use the pressures given by the tyre manufacturer for a given type of tyre. But I still have to research this, whether this info is available online.

There are more than one OE supplier. I was checking with my tyre dealer on prices for my new W211 so I don't have a shock when I need some. Both Conti and Michelin have OE tyres for my car. Again the tyre pressures in the filler lid are the recommended ones.
