Bright ideas please. I have a W 124 Cabriolet and am now on my third seat belt guide ring in side 12 months. I am talking about the black plastic guide ring on the end of the motorised arm. The seat belt simply saws throught it. Does anyone know if MB ever offered the part in metal?

I know exactly what you mean, mine was sawn through when I got it 3 years ago. Have tried to superglue but doesn't work. I'm sick of holding it 'in' as it returns too!

Q: how have you sourced and fitted the new ones? At what cost?

Going through 3 in such a short time sounds v bad though.
