I was sure ive seen a previous post about this problem but i cant find it! The heater got a new fan recently and since then, even with the blower at full blast, there is little or no air going the demist the screen sure it was something to do with a connecting rod ?? If not your expert opinion would be appreciated...where would you find the connecting rod ? thanks Derek

There are 2 rods that extend from the rear of the air flow directional dial on the heater panel, the heater control panel must have been removed at some time in order for them to become disconnected.

One of the two rods can be seen in the 12th picture down here. The two rods fit inside tubes so as when the directional dial is rotated the rods lever open the flaps to direct air up/down.

In Delboys past posts hes talked about his 203, hes only showing one C,class in hes sig so im guessing its a 203, which is electric and no rods!!

Yes apparently it had a new blower fan about 2 months ago, i think the guy who did it failed to connect the rods properly. Do you have the correct procedure for doing so ? in a form i can print off, thanks...Derek

We have had this before and there was a post on this 2 months back, and the rods were joined up incorrectly
