I've got aproblem with an SLC 450 Heater. (1981)
I just can't control it !. Once it starts to get hot... hot air flows beautfully to both sides - too much!. The drivers side heater lever only goes 3/4 way down. No further  then it stops.
Really uncomfortable on a long journey.
Any help  or thoughts appreciated.

W107 Heater Control

Hi

If you drop the undertray's down, by the center console you will see a 10mm nut. This nut has come loose allowing the hot air not to switch off. Put the levers in the cold position. Then tighten the nut. Then try again. This should sort the problem.

Before any of you others suggest any thing else. Check this out. Or disregard at your own convienience.

Regards
