I have a w108 2.8inj and during normal driving she's fine but under hard acceleration when the rev's get high it coughs and backfires and all sorts! Starts fine hot or cold and fuel economy is as bad as ever
Any ideas?

Any ideas?

Fuel pump or pumps and filters, if the fuel delivery is poor it will cause it, the fuel pump relay,that also acts as engine speed limiter can cause this, other than that its back to basic electrics.
