The blinker unit on my 1970 pagoda top SL has failed (part no. 0 336 256 003)and the replacement from Mercedes (part no. 896761) has pins which don't match the original plug, so how can mercedes say that this is a replacement, but more importantly can anyone tell me how to make this so-called replacement work.
I have tried the obvious of creating three little jump leads to try and make endless combinations out of the three pins but all that this achieves is blown fuses.
