Hello again..Just wondering if anyone can help me on a couple of things (i posted this a few days ago but got no replies...please help...). I have recently aquired a 1975 w116 350 se saloon. I was wondering what the fuel consumption of a car this age and size would be? At the moment it's roughly 15 mpg ... is this right? Would a tune up help? Can anyone recommend any other adjustments that would make a difference? Also there is a noisy ticking sound coming from the top end of the engine..... could this be the tappits or worse the cam shaft??
