w123 200 engine replacement

i've recently got hold of an old 1981 w123 200 with m102 engine. i was wondering whether the engine can be replace with 1) w124 200 engine if it exists (i dont know the type/engine's number) or 2) w124 200E engine (engine's number?) or 3) any suitable engine preferably with injection.

Have heard of it being done, but theres a lot of messing with electrics and so on.....I wouldnt bother taking it on if i were you.

But if you need a perfect 102 engine, lemme know, i have a car im breaking thats only done 90K....

I've got a w123 200 with an injection engine in it but I didn't do the conversion so I'll have to have a look to see what the engine type is.
I'll have a look see as well at how much bodging looks to have gone on with wiring etc.
