Hi everyone, I'm new to posting on this forum but have found it very good for advice, thanks alot.
My 1980 280Ce has quite a bit of slack in the steering box at 120,000 miles, I've released the adjuster lock nut and turned the alan key anti clockwise until the steering started to "stiffen up" and not return to the centre position then let it off a bit, but I still have the same amount of play, does this mean it's worn out? any ideas where to source a new or recon box from?
