A friend has just aquired a nice 1983 W123 280TE but is having problems finding reasonably priced insurance. The car may do over 6000 miles per annum so most classic policies seem unsuitable.
Can anyone recommend any good, reasonably priced insurers please.

I found that there was not much to gain by going down the "classic" route for my W123 series 280 saloon. The savings were pretty marginal and excess levels were higher than with some "regular" insurers. I ended up with a good deal from Churchill.
