where is the air produced from that fills the air reservoir in the boot space that operates the central locking ? The central locking on my w123 is not operating and I wish to fix it. Any ideas please

Vacuum supply

It is produced by the vacuum pump attached to the engine.

But your problem is not with the pump, because if the pump wasn't working the engine would not turn off.

You have a vacuum leak somewhere in the system, probably at one of the door locking cells.
