W123 cleaning tips

hi,

i am a little paranoid about my lovely w123 rusting! i have already noticed a little under the front bumper, esp. on the left had side. i washed it this evening with a garden hose, making sure i got under each wheel arch and that the sills were clean.
what other areas should i take special care with?

i wish to waxoil the underside but have no idea of where to start.
any ideas? best to leave it to a professional company or DIY it?

also i've been told i must make sure the sunroof drain is clear, but i can't find it! i thought once the roof is closed, the rubber will keep water out?

what is the best way to make sure the bonnet drains are clean and flowing?

best wishes,

Mine hasn't been out in the rain for years, but if I remember correctly which means I don't have to get off my ass and uncover the car etc to have a look, there are drain holes located near the bonnet hinges and some underneath the headlamps. The sunroof has drain holes that direct water down to the wheel arches. Worth looking after, they are lovely old beasts and getting very trendy now.
