Hi

I want to replace the rubber / felt seals that sit vertically and interior between the rear and front windows. I've looked through the chassis and body manual and can't see any reference to removing these seals at all. Does anyone have any ideas? Don't just want to start pulling and forcing them off in case I damage something.

This is the seal component itself and you can see it in the context of the other parts in the diagram rubber seal / outer | 230CE Mercedes-Benz w123 Coupé | Niemöller

Thanks

Dont they fit in to a slot just pull out and feed new one in .
I didn't comment here as mine's a 124 but, yes, that is how I replaced my seals - slide out, slide in.

Maybe a bit of silicon lubricant to loosen things off a mite.

And i would give them a good few coats of silicone spray ,,before fitting them,, doing this the seals will last longer than normal .
