W123 diesel engine cooling

Dear all,

Had an massive issues due to fuel contamination, my car is finally back on the road however it now seems to lose power and stall if hot. Hot meaning, above 85 degrees on the temp gauge. Does this mean the head is on its way out possibly? When cold, the car pulls like a train, and drives well.

Any ideas?
