Hi guys
I need to replace the selector bushings and source new retaining clips out on my 1984 w123 manual 5 speed 300d.

can anyone suggest anywhere to get the parts please? A tried and tested place or somewhere in the uk that specialises in old merc parts?
Thanks

He has an online shop in the USA. I have no experience of using it but he must source his parts from somewhere.
Good luck.

Good luck.

Word has it that some of his supplies are from the likes of Febi and Meyle. And he's in the USA so import duty may be payable.

The OP should identify the parts needed from the EPC. Then ask one of the preferred MB dealers who supply by post. Or use Teile-Profis in Germany, as I do.

Thought you would, purchased some last month. ;)

was a testing experience though, took an age for them to work out what I wanted.

how easy are they to fit? Have you done the gear stick selector ones as well as the linkage rod?

Yes it is, at least you could explain/show what you wanted, couldn’t do that on the net.
The bushes are very tight, warming them makes fitting easier.
