W123 panel question...

Hi there.

Still very much enjoying my W123 coupe experience!

Can anybody tell me if the rear wheel arch profiles are the same for all type of W123. The rear trailing edges on mine are just showing a little rust and I'd like to get it sorted before it looks untidy.

My local bodyshop chap has quoted me £150 per side to chop out the untidy bits and let in new metal but I was wondering if the bottom section of a repair panel could be cut off and used instead?

I believe that the coupe and saloon are the same, but the estate is different.

I'll run it by the bodyshop to see what they'd rather do.

Can you recommend a supplier for replacement panels if they decide to do it that way?

Mark Cosovich (w123 guru) has genuine wheel arch replacement sections. Do a google and you'll probably find his number - I don't have it to hand.
