W123 question

I've got a 230E W123 which has got plenty of head room (I am 6' 4"). I was thinking of buying a 450SLC until I sat in one and realised I was too tall for it!

Am now thinking of buying a W123 230CE which I believe is based on the same chasis as my 230E. However, can anyone confirm whether the head room is as high on the coupe as on my 230E?

I know I could just go and sit in advertised 230CE, but I have not been able to find any close to where I live, and dont want to make a long journey just to be disappointed

I'm 6' 2" and a friend of mine's 6' 4" and he had no trouble in my 230ce, which also had a sunroof. You can adjust the height of the front seats to give extra headroom. The roof is lower than a std car by a couple of inches.

Headroom

I had a 280CE and had room to spare at 6.2 - the car had sunroof and adjustable seats

Look for one with a sunroof or buy a convertable then you will have plenty headroom .big boy. :roll:
