Hi,
I pressed the switch for the rear demister on my new W123 and the light came on, but it didn't clear.
On inspection, there is a little doophrey-pherkin on the rear window, drivers side, that has detached itself. The car was restored at some point with the window out.
I'm sure it's the thing that connects to the wires, but it looks like it has a grey cement or foam on it.
How is this normally connected into the rear window wires? Is it just stuck onto the window/wires with a conductive glue????
