W123 Seats issue

Hey all,

I'm new here and very thankful for any advice!!

I have a 1985 W123 and typically the drivers seat has a park bench feel about it which doesnt help my old back! just wondering if a W124 seat can be fitted without much modification or any other suggestions? Many thanks in advance, Barry.

Short answer is no, the W124 seat won't fit.
Best to find a decent W123 seat from somewhere. Passenger side seats can be modified to fit. The W126 uses the same seat parts so can also be used.

He works on everything from Frogeye Sprites to VW Campers.

I can personally recommend his work, he has refurb'd and altered several motorcycle seats to include gel-pads - lovely

Modern seat foams are light-years ahead of the old sponges, that plus a new webbing may be all you need.

Tony is not cheap, but his work is first rate.
