300TE has self-levelling. Most 300Es don't so there's one major difference. You could convert to self-levelling but you'd need the pump & pipework as well

I would expect the subframe to be the same - you can easily check this via the Russian website and the chassis numbers of the two cars - but there will always be detail differences

I would check the part numbers, like Bolide has suggested. My guess would be they are the same, but I would check.

The ones on my cars look identical.

the problem

i am in a desprit stage please help me get my life back !!!! av had ma car for 9 year shes done 315000mls its a 1989 300e 124 and am getting rear end wondering ! after looking on forums for info it said it could be subframe bushes or all/some of the tie bars bushes how ever when i inspected my car they all look fcukt more so the sub frame ....a had it at a well respected garage who have allways come up trumps with me and ma mates and they said everthing was solid and would pass an mot !! BUT when a look at the subframe bushes they look ok but whare the long bolt that bolts on the subframe, bolts into the car floor it looks really bad with rust and a finger size gap is presant between the main part of the car and the bush and a think that when a try and take the bolts out it will just crumbble away ! a can get all the tie bars bushes ect brand new for 550 pounds and a subframe secondhand for 100 that way a can powder coat all parts and fit them on a bench ready to go on the car . and then all a need to worry about is how a fix the main subfame on ma car whare the subframe bolts on but its just the rear 2 cos the leading 2 look fine. but a cant find a repare kit to do that but a was gonny try anyway cos a need hir back on the road asap a thought about getting another one and swap all the kit ect but its not the same car .A WILL TRY AND POST A PIC OR 2 WITH THIS MESSAGE BUT AM NOT TO GOOD WITH COMPUTERS IF ITS NOT HERE A WILL POST THEM ON THE GALLERY UNDER BIGSLIMS RUST please help me al do almost anything to get ma baby rolling again cheers and thaks again and again and again a just tryed to put on pics but am lost so a will post in the gallery W124 under BIGSLIMS RUST :sad::sad::sad::sad:

you can change the subframe mounts without taking the thing apart.

Most of the other bushes are easy to fix my just replacing the suspension links.

If you don't get the pictures up by tomorrow you can e-mail them to me, i'll be home then.
