W124 200E wont rev above 4k rpm

In nuetral there is a limiter that cuts the engine at 4k. and thats normal, what are the other symptons.

Sounds like same thing i had on my slk.
changed the mass ai meter from motor factors, runs like a dream now.

Are you sure that the OVP relay is OK, this could knock out the ABS too and give poor running.

The ABS is okay on the 200te

I have a 200 as well which has the ABS problem

Have you checked the OVP relay for the ABS problem car.

Thanks TV - just put new fuse in and ABS working!!! Warning light still coming on with lights, but perhaps it takes a long drive to re-set itself?
