Hi all, the old bus failed the emissions test the other day and that coupled with a rattly 'cat' and ropey downpipe has prompted an exhaust change. Was looking to replace the lambda sensor as well and back tracked the lambda sensor wiring plug to under the drivers seat.
Trouble was this was all corroded and full of green bloom and disintegrated when touched....... hmm must have been damp for a period in its life.
Got all the new bits but am at a loss as to wheather the lambda sensor has to be wired in any special orientation. The car side wires are brown and black with a red stripe whereas the sensor wires are both white and and look like high temp silicone insulation.
Any help much appreciated, thanks
