W124 230CE Sportline (1992)

I heading out to look at a 1992 230 CE Sportline with 120,000 miles and a full MB service history.

Anyone out there have experience with these as a weekly/weekend driver?

I've heard that they can have head gasket issues but what should I be looking for and/or running away from?

Engine loom wiring possibly, the wings that rust at the front are replaceable, but the rest is as you see the cars, great build quality and everyone loves them

With a 1992 car look out for rust, scruffy interiors, overheating, blown CHG, rusty front wings, worn auto boxes and general decrepitude

In other words, be fussy
