- None at the monent, but there's an OM642 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee!
Maybe through lack of use (?), both rear dampers on my 280E have sprung a leak and so need replacing.
A quick look in the Haynes learned journal would suggest a fairly straightforward DIY proposition, unless there are any potential 'gotchas' of which I am unaware The car is non-sportline, BTW.
Is it okay to trolley jack under the final drive unit (using a scrap of cushioning wood) and lower onto 6 tonne axle stands positioned at the rear jacking points?
