Just solved the buzzing thread thanks to Justin, Ade + Spike. We need an online pint-delivery-system implementing here.
Aircon does nothing but blow imperceptibly chilled air at me even when _both_ wheels are on 18C. Only unix servers can stand this kind of chilling but the interior ceratinly does not go anywhere near that temp even after a 30 minute drive.
I'm assuming that the aircon system needs "recharging" (whatever that is; dumps a load of CFC back into it I presume ?).
I'm also assuming that because there's no option to turn the aircon off, its always on (du-uuh) as in climate control rather than aircon; hence buzzing from blower motor that monitors interior air temp.
If I elect not to fix the aircon, will the aircon pump do less work + maybe gain a few extra mpg?
Could categorically answer my own question by removing the pump altogether and fitting a different poly belt I suppose.....
Your help, is as always, very much appreciated. This is the best site on the web.
