I recently bought a W124 300TE24 'J' plate which is superb, what a smooth drive and quick when needed :D

Now I have been driving it for a while, it is the kid car for my wife to use but I am not letting her have it!, I have noticed a knock from the front suspension. I can feel it through the floor on the passenger side. Sometimes it is more noticeable than other times, I think it depends on the road camber but I am not sure.

The moise is unchanged with braking/accelerating

Does anyone have any ideas as to what to check?

Thanks

If you have hydraulic self levelling suspension on that model then the flow and return pipes my run under the floor pan on the driver's side (UK). Check that the pipes are secure. With the rubber spacers at each fixing.

Anti roll bar mount

Well the knock is gone, I found the antiroll bar bracket that attaches to the chassis was split, new one fitted and knock gone. Not bad as it only cost £11 from the stealership.
