Hello gents,
I have a 95 E320 Wagen, and I suspect the box is not changing into 5th, or it is stuck in 4th, or it misses 4th and goes straight to 5th...
So, I want to diagnose it. A PO has mentioned he read, and cleared the codes for the box. I believe with a home built reader. Now, I cannot persuade him to help me for some reason. I've asked for the blink reader schematic etc. and what steps he used to diagnose the issues he had. Nothing so far. Here is the thread:

The car has the round 38 pin diag socket. I want to read and reset the codes. What are people doing?
Numerous blink threads out there, but I'd like to hear from a W124 owner who has the round dag socket, and has built, and read thier own codes.

Where is the TCM? I'd like to check the connections are scure and clean.
