Has anyone had experience of unusual behaviour with the bulb monitoring system? The orange dash light has come on but all the bulbs are working! In the past the system has worked a dream but this time I can't get that orange light to go out.

It comes on when the engine is running and the sidelights turned on (and stays on when I switch to headlights) indicating a problem with one (or more) of four bulbs. I've changed the monitoring system fuse (No. 5) and re-seated both tailights and sidelights. All the bulbs are working (brakes, reverse, headlights, etc, etc).

This orange light is annoying so any advice you can give would be most welcome!!

Nice one Andy

It was one of the number plate lights - forgot all about those. Problem solved.

Cheers

I had the same problem - caused by the number plate light.  I've reseated the bulb, but it persists.  It normally fixes itself on the first bump.

Cheers

I found it odd that the mainbeam headlights are excluded from the lamp check system!
