Just playing with my coupe - looking to clean up and re apply waxoyl / underseal.
I've been cleaning up the inner wing / light area with GUNK / car cleaning detergent and its ok.
found that paint thinners do a far quicker job, it seems to cut through the wax, with is covered in muck / black?? / dust.
Is there any problems using thinners to clean oily / waxy parts (the area is very well ventilated).
thanks S.

I would not use thinners, diesel is very effective in dissolving oily mud.
