A clicking noise that sounded like it was coming from under the fuse box would start after I turned off the ignition and removed the keys. Sometimes it lasted for up to a minute (I've got an mp3 recording). It's stopped now, but front interior light and seatbelt warning light are now permanently on, and rear interiors lights permanently off (all bulbs OK) Any suggestion?

.... too many cars!
W124 fuseboxes will become an issue with age so wriggle all the fuses about and see if that works. I replaced all of mine.

As Andrew in the above post. it is worth getting some non drying switch cleaner and spraying the fuse holder contacts. replace any plastic fuses with ceramic type and see what happens
