w124 drinks holder experience?

Hi all,

has anyone bought one of these cup holders from ebay?

i want to fit them in my merc w124 coupes but i can't tell if they're flimsy. one of my mercs has holes on the pax side of the centre console where a mobile phone mount used to be. one of these would cover those holes nicely.

there's also one from fischer that looks more sturdy but also thicker.

Though I have not seen one, some firms make double holders, made for specific car's,on US ebay.
